An update for the end of 1st quarter.

Students have been informed that any missing assignments they have for math class are due on Wednesday, October 24th to be counted in their 1st quarter grade. If students are missing any assignments after Wednesday they will be put in as a 0 in the gradebook for their 1st quarter grade. Please complete your missing assignments and keep working hard!

Chapter 2 Test

The students will get to view their Chapter 2 test grades on Tuesday, October 9th. If a student is not happy with their performance on the test they may choose to retake the test on their own time (in a study skills class, before school or after school). It is their responsibility to come to my room and get a test retake answer sheet and test. If students decide to retake their test it must be taken by 4:00 on Thursday, October 11th. I will grade these test retakes and then return all of the tests back to students on Monday, October 15th to take home and get signed by a parent for 5 points extra credit (this will only be given if it is signed by Tuesday, October 16th). Many students did great but some are still struggling with multiplication and division of decimals so before moving on we are going to focus on these two skills on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. We are going to have a great week!

Red Oak Middle School - Math 7

Welcome to Math 7 at Red Oak Middle School! This is Mrs. Lee and I am the Math 7 teacher. I want students to have immediate access to daily assignments that I assign in their Math 7 class. I also want them to visit this site to keep updated on when we are scheduled to have quizzes and tests. If a student is missing an assignment or misses a day of school, they may visit this site to view assignments that we have done or will be doing in class.
Most assignments are done out of the math book the school lends them. I post assignments giving the chapter, section number (ex: 1-1 means Chapter 1, Section 1), page numbers and problems assigned. It has been difficult for some students to keep track of all of this so this site will be a reference for them to make sure they are doing the correct assignments.
